Cirrhosis is liver scarring (fibrosis) induced by long-term liver injury. The scar tissue obstructs the liver’s ability to function correctly. Symptoms of early-stage cirrhosis are as follows:

- The appearance of red patches on your palms and small, spider-like blood vessels on your skin (spider angiomas) above the waist level
When cirrhosis reaches a severe level, it can lead to more severe symptoms, such as jaundice, vomiting blood, itchy skin, dark pee, tarry-looking feces, bleeding, bruising easily, swollen legs or stomach, and loss of libido.
